It's been a long time since Raheem from Rap A Lot or MC Shy D from Atlanta but the South has risen. I'm proud of the South right now and I'm a little ashamed of the few beefs that we have after the long struggle. I remember visiting my Auntie in New Jersey in the Summer when I was young and I would bring my UGK with me and how my cousins called Pocket Full of Stones, "country".. What insolence!!!! Well, I'm proud to be country now, Shawty and so do New Yorkers and everybody else in the US right now because of the efforts of Lil Jon, T.I., BoneCrusher, OutKast, and so many others. D4L and Dem Franchize Boys need to forget the beef and remember the struggle to get here. It's a lot of rappers like SammySam paid bloodsweatandtears to see the sucess they're enjoying and haven't reach their plateau, so somebody give these cats a history lesson.. Mook B know better, he was there...(Front Street) But the days of the Rolexx in Miami, the Jellybean in Atlanta, JamaicaJamaica in Houston have brought us to a new day. HipHop Is King and The King lives in the Dirty South... Ludacriss, Young Jeezy, EightBallMJG, UGK need to be saluted and I know i'm leaving a lot of pioneers out but I salute you all. From Ying Yang to Kilo, From Willie D to Mike Jones and let's not forget the greatest rapper alive right now is from the N.O.(my opinion)...
